Workers from temporary employment agencies are finding respect and fairness on the job and higher pay and benefits by joining labor unions.
Rates of pay vary from trade to trade and region to region, but on average union construction workers make 41% more in wages than non-union workers.
Higher pay isn't the only benefit union contracts provide. There is also a written set of rules that apply to everyone - eliminating favoritism and discrimination.
