I Support Davis-Bacon Wages And Union Organizing Rights!!
President Barack Obama, at a town hall meeting in Costa Mesa on March 18, called on SBCTC President Bob Balgenorth during the question and answer period.
Balgenorth asked President Obama what, following the neglect of working people by the administration of the past eight years, he would do to ensure that working people receive the wages they deserved.
Obama responded that he strongly supports Davis-Bacon wage requirements, and the opportunity for unions to organize.
