The built project was funded by the California’s Tobacco Tax Fund (Proposition 99) from 1999-2007, and in that time, developed numerous resources about cessation and prevention of tobacco use by construction and blue collar workers.  Many of these materials are still available in hard copy through the Tobacco Education Clearinghouse of California (TECC):  (search for “union”).

We are pleased to have received funding from Pfizer to update the website and select materials.  Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Licensed to Kill -

"We're Rich, You're Dead!"

Don't you wish tobacco companies would just tell the truth about who they are and what they do? After all, it is a legal product and they are not the only corporations who put profits ahead of public safety.

In order to show that a tobacco company can be honest, Licensed to Kill, Inc., the world's newest multinational tobacco company, publicly announced its incorporation and launched their website:

I just can't wait to go down to my local mini-mart and buy a pack of "Global Massacre's." But, when I'm in the hospital dying from my addiction to tobacco, I won't be able to sue Licensed to Kill, Inc. They told me the truth.

How can the State of Virginia could allow a company to incorporate using such a name and stated purpose? It must be because it's a tobacco company.
