Wheeler Named to
California Bay-Delta Authority

Daniel S. Wheeler, of Chino Hills, was named to the California Bay-Delta Authority by Speaker of the California Assembly, Herb J. Wesson, Jr. Mr. Wheeler is the United Association Special Representative and will serve until January 1, 2007.

The California Bay-Delta Authority program will determine how $825 million in construction and infrastructure funds are spent for a variety of water system projects. Part of the $3.4 billion water bond initiative passed by the voters last fall, this program will provide thousands of new construction jobs for the next decade. The State Building and Construction Trades Council supported Mr. Wheeler's appointment and congratulates him on this important appointment for the building and construction trades.
